Experience the presence of God through wind and water, through story and song, and through friendships that last a lifetime.  Camp Don Lee has offered Christian camping experiences for children and youth since 1950.  Nestled on the north shore of the lower Neuse River near Oriental, North Carolina.  Camp Don Lee is an ideal setting for campers to learn how to contribute to a strong Christian community, to explore God's creation, and to grow in their relationhip with others, themselves and God. Camp Don Lee is related by faith to the United Methodist Church and is open to children and youth of all traditions each summer.

Company Profile: The Camp Don Lee summer camp experience is built around a small group model that includes eight girls and eight boys of approximately the same age led by two trained and experienced counselors.  The group is supported by two program staff members.  Small group camping is the unique trademark of the Don Lee experience.  Camp Don Lee is known nationally for its strong, adventure-filled sailing program.  Recent years have seen a huge growth in an outstanding camp program in marine science.  In these programs campers have a variety of hands-on experiences including exploring the Neuse River, dissecting squid, and handling the friendly marine invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians that live in our nature center.  Campers also take a trip on a Duke Marine Lab research vessel to collect fish and marine animals that live in the ocean.  The Classic Don Lee Experience is the Traditional One week camp that works to build community and to allow each camper to experience a little of almost all traditional camp activities like swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, art, drama, archery, outdoor living skills and music. 

Programs: There are programs for 1/2 week, a full week, two weeks, three weeks and even a four week leadership program.  There are adventure camps that include outerbanks camping, surfing, parasailing,
hangliding and island camping.  There are special camps in advanced sailing, environmental education, and even family camps and adult sailing schools.
