The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded the 2007 NFL Youth Football Fund Local Agency Grant endorsed by the National Recreation and Park Association. The $4,000 award has been used to enhance the quality of the department’s youth football program. The Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department offers tackle football for children ages 7-13.
