• Did you know that you can find companies that will ship your luggage, your skis, golf gear or bowling equipment ahead so you do not have to schlep them to and from the airport?  We suggest FedEx as most companies us FedEx and charge you a service fee.  This way you will find what you need when you arrive and you will not have to wait for your sports equipment.  No one wants to ski without skis!!!  Also FedEx handles your personal items with much more care than the airlines will.
• If traveling with a car always check and see if the hotel you are staying at has a parking charge.  You may wish to book another hotel if the parking charge is too high.  Some hotels even make you valet park the car which can be quite pricey if you are staying for several nights.
• If you are traveling with three or more couples to a beach destination look into getting a villa.  You can save money and get nice amenities such as a private pool, maids, cooks, etc.  It is a great way to travel and affords more privacy than a hotel.
• If you are booked on an early morning flight look into park and fly packages offered by your local airport hotel.  Many will only charge you for one night and if you are going away for a week or more the cost to stay at a hotel may be less than your parking cost!!!
• By joining the free playbill club at playbill.com you can find half price theater tickets in New York and other US cities without standing in line at a theater kiosk or waiting to buy tickets on the day of the performance.
