The Pay-It-Forward project of the Caring Community Foundation is an annual event that raises funds to assist local cancer patients in need. 100% of the funds are utilized to provide assistance with expenses such as rent, utilities, food, prescription medications, nutritional supplements and other items that become even more difficult to manage in the face of cancer treatment. Receiving the $40,000 STEP Grant will advance the mission of the Caring Community Foundation’s Pay-It-Forward Project even further. In six years, CCF has raised more than $550,000 and assisted 497 patients!
